Reality will replace the lived nightmare

One sided flow of reason and questions
Favouring the occasions which end with embrace
A soft graze warm on my cheek
Finally gazing into the blue depth
That I have searched the sea and sky for
The sky lights my day
The sea drifts me into sleep
The blue depth is the warmest dream
Quick to turn
Shadows swell and apply tension
To the harsh rope cutting in as it holds me back
A moment to let hope run wild
Why restraint
Calm settles
Clouds carry insecurities to a distance
