Image of the painting Tethered, July 2026. The painting shows a figure floating or held with a gradient blue back ground. The figure sits at the lower half amongst the light blue and as the painting progresses to darker blue at the top. Abstract shapes of a dark blue highlighted with red and yellow are dotted across the dark blue section. The figure is held by an arm and hand which reaches up from he bottom of the canvas. The figures hair is made of feathers and there is a general sense of air movement or wind blowing upwards from the bottom of the canvas.

Tethered

The image shows a garden with a body of water and trees in the background. A figure sits in the middle of the image on the grass of the garden with their head resting on a long, low bench. They appear to sleep. To the right of them is an anthropomorphic butterfly of human size which bends down to pick up dropped pieces of paper the figure appears to have been working on. In the background beyond the large butterfly we see the species (the purple crow) also depicted in it's caterpillar and chrysalis stages with a wooden structure similar to a boat house. to the left side of the painting a large tree leans over into the garden creating some shade and on the bench blue sits a blue magpie.

Coral Farm

Image of the painting Gathering (July 2024). The image shows a group of 5 fantastical creatures sitting around a campfire within the trees. In the background sits a garden hedge labyrinth. At the center of that labyrinth sits a mountain lit with touches and on top sits a giant magnolia flower. This painting was inspired by one of the opening scenes in the Never Ending Story book

Gathering

Image of the painting Round the corner July 2023. A derelict, rundown building is shown. Two doorways sit int he lower half with two boarded up windows above. Metal sheets, concrete brick and pieces of wooden block the doorways and windows. Above on of the doors is a smalls mashed window. Between the top of the doorways and bottom of the windows sit dilapidated planter. Off white, buddleia grow out of these plants in an overgrown fashion and grown around a turquoise drainpipe that run down the centre on the building and painting.

Round the corner

An image of the painting Creeping Optimism December 2024. Shows a person shining a light on a broken mirror. Plants grow through and out of the broken mirror. The left side of the painting shows an overgrown, hidden place beyond the wall of the bar room in which the figure and mirror sit. A tiny frog peeks out from behind the mirror.
